1996 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GTI 2 DOOR HATCHBACK 2.0, this is an original owner car, the owner has loved this car for 23 years, but it is time to say goodbye, so sad. Definitely a fixer-upper, the under carriage has extreme rust and there is visible hole from the passenger side, ( please see pics), muffler has seen better days, will fall off soon, sun roof crank cover is missing, (see pics), has coolant leak somewhere, and have to disconnect one battery cable to stop fan from running, must be bad switch or sensor. 2010 VW GTI for sale. All around a good car, fun to drive and great sounding even stock. Unitronic Intake system installed. The rims were plasti-dipped from the previous owner due to curb rub and taking it off was a pain so there is some left over residue.Needs: A new TPMS sensor (why the tire light is on), a new intake manifold and steering angle sensor (why the check engine light is on), and some TLC after rocks left chips in the hood and the rear bumper was hit in a parking lot. The dent is mostly pulled out now but it needs to be buffed to clear out the rest of the scratches. Some how down the road the heat stopped working, you can feel the heat coming out of the vent, but it won't blow. The muffler is currently disconnected but can be reconnected upon request. Finally, there is a clunk in the front end (thinking shocks). The engine is strong and pulls hard - oil change every 3000 miles and the body has no rust. Looking to get rid of it fast but will not accept unreasonable offers.

55k original miles this car will not pass emissions (no cats)This car has been in storage for too long so I’m selling it. It was a Eurotuner Grandprix car, driven for a couple years (I had two built motors for it) after that I just moved it around to different storage spots.
